Busy schedule for winning pointers as November Sale entries revealed
Auction kickstarts boutique sales season at Cheltenham
Lou Trek, a six-length winner at Moig South on Sunday, and Highate Hill, an equally impressive five-length winner at Damma House the same day, are among the 37 winning pointers and form horses already catalogued for the Tattersalls Ireland Cheltenham November Sale.
Last year's renewal saw buoyant trade with the aggregate increasing by 82 per cent to £3,712,000. The average jumped 37 per cent to £90,537 and the median rose by a fifth to £60,000, with the top price set by Know The Score, who went the way of David Pipe for £380,000.
Lou Trek is trained by Mick Goff on behalf of his neighbour Billy Murray and became the third four-year-old maiden winner for the yard in as many weeks, with Clondaw Hollow set to join Lou Trek on the lorry to Cheltenham.
Three four-year-old maidens were held at Moig South on Sunday, with Picanha winning the Tattersalls Ireland-sponsored geldings maiden in a close finish from fellow sales entrant Defuture Is Bright.

Trained by Andrew Latta, the winner is owned in partnership by leading National Hunt jockey Robbie 'Puppy' Power.
Another interesting lot sure to be of interest is Encore Champs from the yard of Warren Greatrex. The four-year-old son of Robin Des Champs was a convincing winner of a Ffos Las bumper on just his second start.
The auction will be held after racing in the Tattersalls Ireland sales arena at 4.30pm on November 16.
