Dansili filly Just Wonderful lives up to her name at the Curragh
Two-year-old is the latest star descendant of Urban Sea
Just Wonderful marked herself out as the latest star performer to count legendary blue hen Urban Sea as an ancestress, when winning the mile Group 3 Flame Of Tara Irish EBF Stakes for two-year-old fillies at the Curragh on Saturday.
The daughter of Dansili moved upsides the leaders from a furlong out before easing clear, to complete a double for Aidan and Donnacha O'Brien, who also landed the opening maiden with Rekindling's closely related Australia half-brother Sydney Opera House.
Galileo filly Peach Tree was a length and a half back in second, with the same margin back to Zoffany filly Fleeting in third.
A Coolmore homebred, Just Wonderful is out of Wading, a daughter of Montjeu whose three-race career culminated in success in the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes at Newmarket - a race in which Just Wonderful is also entered.
Connections may have loftier ambitions though, with Just Wonderful also entered for the Moyglare Stud Stakes, Juddmonte Cheveley Park Stakes and Bet365 Fillies' Mile, all Group 1 targets.
Should she prevail at the highest level, she would become the third elite winner to descend from Urban Sea this season - with Wading's Camelot half-sister Athena successful in the Belmont Oaks in July and Masar, inbred 3x4 to Urban Sea, successful in the Derby.
Wading is out of the Oaks fifth Cherry Hinton, also the dam of Irish Oaks winner Bracelet and one of nine black-type performers out of Urban Sea, who is best known as the progenitor of Galileo and Sea The Stars.
Just Wonderful is the third foal out of Wading, whose three-year-old War Front colt Lost Treasure recorded his second win in three starts at the Curragh on Friday.
She also has a Zoffany yearling filly and a Camelot colt foal, with the latter closely related to Athena.
