Recent form to the fore ahead of Goffs UK Autumn HIT Sale

Mixed group of 191 set to go under the hammer

Fresh from boosts from several of its recent graduates, this year's Goffs UK Autumn HIT Sale will offer 191 lots in a single standalone session on Thursday.

The event is no longer being combined with a large yearling section and has taken 25 supplementary entries, many of which have come from the point-to-point field.

A handful of yearlings are also being offered along with those from the Flat including a seven-strong Godolphin draft. Make A Challenge, bought for a song from Sheikh Mohammed's operation a couple of years ago, acquitted himself commendably on British Champions Day while Champion Hurdle third Silver Streak continues to look an inspired Evan Williams purchase from the Ann Duffield yard as he bolted up in the Listed hurdle at Kempton on Sunday.

Weekend racing has seen another two pointers added to Thursday's session; Press Your Luck (lot 88), who claimed his maiden victory for Donnchadh Doyle at Portrush on Saturday, and Minella Wizard (89), who claimed his second career placing from three starts when finishing second at Tinahely on Sunday.

The session will also offer Irish pointers Annual Invictus, Gale At Sea, impressive winner Do Your Job, Minella Beauty, the unbeaten Pennyforapound, Yes Des Taillons, Sani Pass, Classic Lady, and First One D'Ana, as well as those with form on the Flat, including Buzz, Kripke and Maid In Manhattan.

Supplementary entries also include Only Money, who won a bumper on his most recent start at Fontwell, and Klute, a dual winning three-year-old by Kodiac, while the Nicky Henderson trained Full Bore was second on his chase debut at Plumpton on Monday.
