Doncaster plays host to the Goffs UK September Horses in Training Sale on Wednesday, with the centrepiece of the 290-lot catalogue set to be the annual dispersal of stock from Gigginstown House Stud.

The 35 lots to be offered by Michael and Eddie O'Leary's operation include household names such as Road To Riches (Lot 81), who landed a brace of Grade 1 chases as well as finishing third in Coneygree's Cheltenham Gold Cup, and Irish Grand National winner Thunder And Roses (90).

A number of interesting Flat prospects are also due to come under the hammer, including smart sprint handicapper Atletico (237); last year's Cornwallis Stakes third Mokaatil (173), who is one of 13 lots to be offered by Shadwell; and the useful three-year-old Book Of Dreams (219), who has an official rating of 93 after winning his most recent start.

Last year's September Horses in Training Sale was topped by Pete So High, who fetched £66,000 from Aidan O'Ryan and Gordon Elliott. Having subsequently won two races over hurdles for Elliott and Gigginstown, the son of High Chaparral will be re-offered as lot 79 during Wednesday's session.
