Sister to American Pharoah on offer at November Sale
American Cleopatra just one of a number of well-bred mares catalogued
Grade 1 winners Miss Temple City, Nickname, Songbird and Tepin are just some of the top-class mares who will go under the hammer at the Fasig-Tipton November Sale on November 6.
A total of 192 lots for the one-day sale have been catalogued and other horses of interest include American Cleopatra, the sister to Triple Crown hero American Pharoah who is offered in foal to Coolmore's exciting young sire Uncle Mo.
Grade 2 winner and Grade 1 runner-up Madam Dancealot is also up for grabs as well as Land Over Sea, who was second behind Cathryn Sophia in last year's Kentucky Oaks.
Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning said: "This is an outstanding catalogue from top to bottom - there is depth, diversity, and quality. The evening will begin with 81 selected weanlings - the strongest group of foals we have put together in many years - and then move into a top rung collection of racing stars and high-class broodmares.
"In total, this year's catalogue features 50 graded stakes winners or producers, 22 of which are Grade 1, three Eclipse champions and four Breeders' Cup winners. Nearly 80 per cent of the catalogued lots are black type earners or producers."
