The catalogue for the Tattersalls December Foal Sale, which will take place in Newmarket over four days from November 29, has been posted online and features 1,147 lots, including a draft from the Ballymacoll Stud dispersal.

Eye-catchers include the Dubawi half-sister to Irish Derby and Dubai Sheema Classic winner Jack Hobbs and a Golden Horn half-sister to runaway German Derby scorer Sea The Moon.

Among the foals that comprise the Ballymacoll dispersal consinged by Norelands Stud are an Oasis Dream filly out of multiple Group/Grade 1 winner Islington and a Kingman brother to the 1.7 million guineas yearling filly out of Justlookdontouch, who was bought by Moyglare Stud at Book 1 of the October Sale.

Several first-crop sires boast a strong representation, with Cable Bay and Hot Streak leading the way with 35 and 36 foals catalogued respectively.

Tattersalls chairman Edmond Mahony said: "We have already seen the impact of the Ballymacoll Dispersal at the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale and the Ballymacoll foals add an extra dimension to the 2017 Tattersalls December Foal Sale for both the pinhookers and leading racehorse owners.

"The Tattersalls December Foal Sale consistently attracts the cream of the British and Irish foals and this year's catalogue has the quality and diversity to appeal to buyers from throughout the world at all levels of the market."
