It's a little bit surprising to see Dentley De Mee as big as 6-1 for this average handicap hurdle as he's fairly well regarded and had a good season last term despite being highly tried at times.

He contested a red-hot Lanzarote Hurdle in January despite having only just turned five and did well enough to finish eighth on what was only his fourth hurdles start. Two starts later he was second in the EBF Final at Sandown, a race which often produces a few decent performers.
