USS Michigan is sure to be a very warm order for the 6f Lengthen The Odds With BetVictor Maiden (5.45) at Dundalk, but it is the first day of March and backing an odds-on three-year-old from Ballydoyle on the all-weather does not appeal to me. He is drawn widest of all in stall 14 too.

With all that in mind, it could be worth chancing Paistiul, a filly from the Jim Bolger stable who was only 7-2 for her debut at Limerick in June where she was too green to do herself justice.
