Wolverhampton Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway has a perm for the evening fixture

There’s a competitive card at Wolverhampton and that makes most appeal for the Placepot.

The opening 1m½f handicap (4.50), looks a tough one. Makambe has been in good form at this track and should be included along with another recent course winner, Swinging Eddie.

It won’t be easy to get through the 1m1½f handicap (5.20), either. Masque Of Anarchy goes well at this track and looks solid for places. Likely favourite Hot Team should also be put in.

Love Dreams is one of my best bets of the day in the 7f seller (5.50), but he can be hit and miss at the start. It is worth taking out some insurance by including Seas Of Elzaam, too.

Marco Ghiani won twice on Sir Rodneyredblood in February and returns in the saddle in the 6f handicap (6.20). Kaafy, who was second over course and distance last time, also appeals.

The winner will be needed in the 1m4f handicap (6.50), so it’s worth including G For Gabrial, International Law and Termonator, while Rich Dream is a banker in the 1m1½f novice (7.20).
