Wink needs a rethink after game success at Lingfield

>>They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but Wink Oliver thumbed his nose at that by not only winning over a mile for the first time in the opener at Lingfield, but also showing plenty of tenacity in doing so (usually needs rivals to come back to him).

He traded at 190 in running on Betfair before rallying to regain the lead close home from Polar Kite (1.03). The other surprise was that third home Spiritual Star, who was unlucky in the run, wasn't done at shorter than 1.98.

>>There was an amazing finish to the novice hurdle at Catterick. The race seemed to be between market leaders All My Love and Golden Vision from a long way out and they were backed at 1.12 and 1.19.
