Windsor Placepot pays handsome dividends

Well-backed 6-5 favourite Primadonia finished well held in last and, with 3-1 second in Dontforgettocall also unplaced, the Placepot was blown open.

More tickets bit the dust when 4-5 favourite Mister Blue Sky was only fourth in the third leg and when 11-8 market leader Percy’s Romance, who carried almost half the remaining 86.13 units (42.58), filled the same position in the fifth race just 21.1 tickets survived to the last.
