This lightly raced seven-year-old won soft ground in a bumper and over hurdles and looks a likely improver on his third start over fences now he is fitted with cheekpieces for the first time.
Evan Williams' gelding was no match for the useful Waiting Patiently when beaten 20 lengths in fourth over an inadequate 2m1/2f on his chase debut at Sedgefield in November, but improved on that when upped to this 2m4f trip on heavy going at Uttoxeter last time.
