Well-treated handicapper looks ready to waltz home

Quite a few runners in the Midas Construction Handicap Chase (2.35) at Exeter have seen better days but one of them, Dance Floor King, has been hinting at a revival and it surely won't be long before he cashes in on his tumbling mark.

Nick Mitchell's nine-year-old was a progressive performer in the 2014-15 campaign, with a hat-trick of wins including a fair thrashing of Quite By Chance, who was arguably a shade unlucky in Saturday's Caspian Caviar Gold Cup from a 34lb higher mark.

Dance Floor King's bid for a four-timer came up short when he was beaten two and a half lengths by Mr Mole at Sandown in January 2015 and that winner found himself on an 18lb higher mark than at Sandown after landing the Game Spirit at Newbury by 13 lengths the following month.
