It might be worth forgiving Kevin Ryan’s gelding a poor run here last time, as he probably didn’t take to a first-time hood on ground much softer than ideal.

If he returned to the form he showed at Newmarket last summer when beating Priceless he would be very hard to keep out of the frame.
