Wednesday advice: our regional experts with their best bets of the day
Newmarket: David Milnes
Chakrii (5.15 Kempton, nap)
Got off the mark at Chelmsford last week and is expected to defy a 6lb penalty under the promising Laura Pearson. The Henry Spiller-trained gelding looked in good shape on Warren Hill on Tuesday afternoon.
Others to follow
Southwell: 2.00 Cantmar, 2.30 Purple Rock, 4.00 Playful Spirit.
Kempton: 6.45 Annecy, 7.15 Me Too Nagasaki, 7.45 Galileo's Spear, 8.15 Blessed To Empress.
North: Colin Russell
Liamba (2.00 Southwell, nap)
Doesn't have the best of win records, but has been placed on both her two outings on the course and with the step back up to this trip in her favour is expected to go well again.
Others to follow
Kempton: 5,45 Mount Ararat, 6.45 Rich Approach, 8.15 Sir Ottoman.
Musselburgh: 2.50 Younoso, 3.20 Donnas Dream, 3.50 Saryshagann, 4.20 Old Salt, 4.50 Hero's Story.
Southwell: 2.30 Royal Cosmic, 3.00 Addicted To You, 3.30 Grey Destiny, 4.00 Poet's Pride, 4.30 Spirit Power.
Lambourn: James Burn
Moon Of Baroda (7.45 Kempton, nap)
Got off the mark at Wolverhampton last month and a 1lb rise from that is fair, so expect this gelding to go close again.
Others to follow
Kempton: 5.45 Ulster.
Southwell: 3.00 Rainbow Dreamer.
West Country: Tim Mitchell
Riviere Argentee (4.45 Plumpton, nap)
Good effort on stable debut when runner up at Kempton last time on her second start after a wind operation. Reckoned to have been found an inviting opportunity to go one better with the eye-catching booking of Jonjo O’Neill jnr.
Others to follow
Plumpton: 2.10 Acey Milan, 2.40 Midnight Tune, 3.10 Duc De Beauchene, 3.40 Shintori, 4.10 Three Star General.
Racing Post Ratings: Steve Mason
Hope's Wishes (4.45 Plumpton, nap)
On a very long losing run, but ran above expectations over fences last time and could prove well-treated on the switch back to hurdles.
Topspeed: Dave Edwards
Chica De La Noche (6.15 Kempton)
Has been admirably consistent recently and this course and distance winner richly deserves to add to her tally.
Longshot: Craig Thake
Natalie Express (6.15 Kempton)
The Henry Spiller-trained mare lost all chance at the start last time but was extremely consistent last year and races off the same mark as when successful at Lingfield just over a year ago.
Ireland: Tony O'Hehir
Nick Lost (3.05 Fairyhouse)
This front running seven-year-old won two chases earlier in the season and drops considerably in grade here having competed at Grade 1 level at Leopardstown on his most recent start. Rachael Blackmore's mount can account for his five rivals in this 2m7½f event.
The Raceform Interactive nugget
Padraig Roche is 3-6 with his runners at Fairyhouse, improving to 3-4 with those who started at 13-2 or shorter. His Way Back Home in the 1.35 should fit that statistic.
