Walsh and Valseur Lido can gain redemption

Ruby Walsh and Valseur Lido have unfinished business together and can team up for success in the JNwine.com Champion Chase (2.35) at Down Royal.

Last February the pair cruised into contention in the latter stages of the Irish Gold Cup at Leopardstown, but the Gigginstown-owned chaser crumpled on landing and gave Walsh no chance of staying on board.

That was a costly yet uncharacteristic error from the seven-year-old, who has been provided with an early season chance to shine by his new trainer Henry de Bromhead.
