1pt win at 5-1 generallyAny horse with 'PPP' next to its name has obvious risks, but it's only a year ago this week that Killala Quay ran to a Racing Post Rating of 151 when winning a Grade 2 novice chase at Kempton and form like that would put him on a par with top weight Saint Are at levels, let alone in receipt of 17lb.

That win came after a near three-month break following some indifferent form in the first half of the season, so there' s fair chance he will bounce back fresh and the trainer's comments in today's Racing Post are encouraging.

This veterans' chase is certainly the weakest race he will have been in for a while and a handicap mark of just 130 will make him very hard to beat if the break has done him good.
