Veteran can find new lease of life under promising claimer

1pt win at 8-1 generallyIt might be worth taking a chance Jordan Canavan is as promising as he looked in just four rides in Britain last season and the 10lb he takes off Lost Legend makes him very interesting.

Three of the four mounts Canavan took that 10lb off last term recorded career bests according to Racing Post Ratings and the other ran the second-best race of its life. Two of his mounts came for Jonjo O'Neill and they finished first and second, the winner, like Lost Legend, having lost his way over fences previously.

If Lost Legend runs a career best today he'll win by a fence at least, and while there is next to no chance of that, a mark of 115, down 25lb since this time last year, will look very tasty if he ever clicks again.
