Heavyweights Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua are going toe to toe in a rematch billed as the duel in the desert in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, but there's another rematch of epic proportions which takes place at Saratoga as Nest takes on Secret Oath for a third time in the $600,000 Grade 1 Alabama Stakes, and all eyes in America will be on this one.

Secret Oath beat Nest in the Kentucky Oaks at Churchill Downs back in May, but Todd Pletcher's filly got revenge when she destroyed her rival by 12 and a quarter lengths in the American Oaks at this course last month, and now the pair are set to do battle again.

In Nest we have a Curlin filly who is getting better and better. She has won five of her eight starts and hit the board in the other three and has shown a lovely attitude in all of her races.

She lost nothing in defeat when second behind stablemate Mo Donegal in the Belmont Stakes on her penultimate outing, but it's the manner of her latest win that really shows she is coming to hand now. She was going further and further clear that day and the frightening thing is that she is improving all the time.

Nest should win this for Pletcher, who won the race last year with subsequent Breeders' Cup Distaff third Malathaat, and this can be another victory on the path to Keeneland in November.

Chad Brown saddles half of the eight-strong field in the $200,000 Grade 2 Lake Placid Stakes over 1m½f in which there's a European challenger in the shape of Charlie Appleby's Saratoga Oaks winner With The Moonlight, but Dolce Zel is a filly on the up and is the pick of Brown's runners.

The daughter of Zelzal is an unexposed ex-French-trained filly who has only had four starts on US soil, all of which have been in Graded company and resulted in form figures of 1231, with her latest win being over a trip just shy of this here at Saratoga.

She was down on the inside that day and had to show guts and determination to overcome trouble in running to win so there are plenty of positives about her chances.

She should go well under Irad Ortiz jnr, who was on board last time out.
