Reigning Supreme (3.35 Aintree, nap)

It is likely we have not seen the best of this lightly raced seven-year-old. Twice a winner over hurdles, he has yet to flourish chasing, but will enjoy this trip and the decent ground.

North: Richard Young

Ballyboker Breeze (1.50 Aintree, nap)

Course and distance winner in June whose saddle slipped and unseated rider when in front turning for home at Perth last time. Fancied to make amends on suitable ground back at Aintree.

Others to follow
Aintree 1.15 Quest For Life, 2.25 Mischievous Max, 3.00 Cloudy Dream, 3.35 Traditional Dancer, 4.10 Madam Cloud

West Country: Andrew King

Teaser (3.55 Wincanton, nap)

Snapped up by David Pipe after landing a Flat seller earlier this month and can make a winning start over hurdles.

Others to follow
Aintree
1.15 Three Star General, 2.25 Eamon An Cnoic, 3.00 Frodon, 4.10 Sweet Adare
Wincanton 1.35 Stradivarius Davis, 2.10 Boy In A Bentley, 2.45 Ridgeway Flyer, 3.20 Rhythm Is A Dancer, 4.30 Magical Thomas

Racing Post Ratings: Steve Mason

Byron Flyer (2.25 Aintree, nap)

Nicely treated on the pick of his old hurdle form, including two good runs over course and distance, and could be hard to beat if transferring recent improvement on the level to hurdling.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Follow The Bear (1.15 Aintree)

Has a bit to prove after some lacklustre efforts but both trip and ground could bring out the best in him.

Longshot: Dave Revers

Cool Sky (2.25 Aintree)

Course-and-distance winner who should relish the good ground. Trainer Ian Williams has a level-stakes profit of £18 here over the past five seasons.

Ireland: Tony O’Hehir

Edelpour (1.25 Wexford)

Runner-up on his two previous attempts over hurdles, the Alan Fleming-trained six-year-old can come good here having had a run on the Flat two weeks ago. Fitted with cheekpieces for the first time, Donagh Meyler's mount can account for his nine rivals.

There is no Newmarket tip on Sunday.

Look out for Pendra in the 1.50 at Aintree if the going remains good. While he has had success on other ground, his form figures are an impressive 112 when it's officially good.
