Tramore can prove the perfect place for De Bromhead's dodgy jumper

Champagne West has made more mistakes than Liverpool's two under-fire goalkeepers combined in the last 12 months but Tramore looks the perfect place to get his confidence back and he gets a confident vote to land the Listed 2m5f chase (2.15).

Tramore does not take much jumping. The fences are not as big or robust as other venues. Indeed, it is probably the easiest jumping test in Ireland and that should allow Champagne West to finally show what he is made of.

On this very day two years ago, Champagne West was second in the Dipper Chase at Cheltenham and last season he chased home Village Vic in the Caspian Caviar Gold Cup off a mark of 150. His debut for Henry de Bromhead was full of promise at Gowran Park where he took third behind Zabana. He made a mess of the third-last there and, but for that, would have finished much closer.
