Topweight has a big chance back in handicap company

1pt win at 6-1 generallyIt's a while since Clock On Tom won, but he has returned from a layoff in really good form for new trainer Barry Leavy and he could be the answer with a fair 7lb claimer reducing the burden of top weight.

Rated 114 over hurdles in October 2016, it took only three runs for his previous trainer for him to drop to a mark of 100 and he is definitely capable of winning off that.

He may have been beaten in a seller last time, but he was getting only 8lb off the 125-rated winner, who he made work for the victory. The form comment 'not run on' is a bit unfair given he was up against a 1-3 shot and beat other rivals rated higher than him and I think he's certain to go well back in handicap company.
