Mandalayan has been disappointing over obstacles considering how decent he was on the Flat but the racingtv.com Maiden Hurdle at Catterick (1.30) would be his easiest task to date and he's surely capable of a lot better than he's shown.

A repeat of his hurdling debut effort at Taunton would be good enough and the five-year-old has a tongue-tie to help him as well.
