The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Wednesday
BANKER
Downtown Getaway(2.45 Newbury)
I've been waiting for Nicky Henderson to unleash this five-year-old for a few weeks now (had multiple entries that he didn't take) and he seems to have found the toughest contest possible! However, he's a horse with a lot of potential and ability, having romped home to win by 12 lengths on his only start in Ireland, and is highly regarded by his new connections. I wouldn't be surprised if he played a part at Cheltenham in March and can hopefully get his campaign off to a winning start.
GOOD THING
Zorawar (11.40 Lingfield)
Ex-French-trained four-year-old who is clearly well treated at the moment but has just failed to get the luck in running needed to win a sprint handicap on the all-weather. Often breaks slowly, which definitely doesn't help his chance, but has a nice draw in stall two and can hopefully get a sweet run round on the rail under Jason Watson. He boasts a nice turn of foot for this grade.
