The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Tuesday

BANKER

Global Tango (4.00 Lingfield)

I was at Kempton last Wednesday when Jamie Spencer stayed until the final race to partner Global Tango and what a fantastic ride he gave him. Having set off at a blistering pace in first-time blinkers, Spencer eased off the gas, filled up the tank, brought him to the golden highway down the middle of the track and Global Tango held off his rivals to win by two lengths. I thought he was seriously impressive and now in the hands of 7lb claimer Cieren Fallon, which means he can run off a 2lb lower mark, he should be able to quickly follow up. He is drawn well to attack and trainer Charlie Hills is flying.

GOOD THING

Sea Art(7.30 Wolverhampton)

Mondain and L'Un Deux Trois bring solid form into this race and are closely matched, but they may find the likely improver Sea Art too good as he takes a much-needed step up in trip. Campaigned by William Knight over a mile last season, Sea Art showed clear signs that he needs a trip and his pedigree only boosts that theory (half-brother to 2m4f winner Grey Mist). He took the eye with two strong-staying efforts to finish sixth on his last two starts, the form of the latter is working out quite well with runner-up Good Birthday scoring at Doncaster over the weekend. A first-time visor is interesting and Jason Watson, who is 6-30 (+£3.15 to £1 level stakes) for the trainer, takes the ride.
