The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Tuesday

BANKER

Jamacho(6.10 Newcastle)

Brian Ellison's four-year-old got off the mark at the 15th time of asking when sent off a well-supported favourite for a jumpers' bumper at this course and can follow up over a shorter trip today. Despite facing a number of former Flat horses, Jamacho readily kicked clear when asked by Henry Brooke and put the race to bed in a matter of strides. That was a career-best effort and it's unsurprising to see him sent back to the all-weather at Gosforth Park to try and rack up another success. His mark of 73 is fair given his exploits on the turf last May.

EYECATCHER

Royal Holiday(5.00 Southwell)

Marjorie Fife's veteran caught the eye when third over this course and distance at the start of this month when ridden by Cam Hardie for the first time and the pair can cash in now dropped 1lb to a mark of 46. The course specialist, who has won off marks in the high 60s during his prime, went well from the front that day and had most of his nine rivals under pressure as he quickened up coming round the home turn. Despite sticking to his task well, he found two improving sorts too good on the day and the runner-up has subsequently confirmed the form by winning on his next start. This looks easier.
