The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Tuesday
EYECATCHER
Benny In Milan (5.10 Southwell)
Denis Hogan is a very shrewd trainer and the fact he is sending Benny In Milan across the Irish Sea to carry topweight in this 2m4f handicap hurdle is interesting to say the least, especially given he is riding the seven-year-old. Benny In Milan has had just three starts for Hogan since moving from Francis Flood's yard earlier in the year, and has been beaten 39 lengths combined in his two completed starts, while he pulled up when sent off a 6-1 chance at this course in August. You can excuse that run given he was travelling nicely before going wrong after the fifth flight, and Hogan is sure to have him back in prime condition for this event.
IRISH ANGLE
Perfect Tapatino (6.05 Naas)
This is a pretty good race for a 55-80 handicap that ends the card at Naas, but Joseph O'Brien's Perfect Tapatino stands out as the most likely winner and I'd be extremely surprised if he didn't come out on top. The improving four-year-old colt, who makes just his fourth start for the trainer, won a 23-runner handicap at the Curragh well on his penultimate start over 1m2f, before finding the drop back to a mile a bit sharp last time out. He was given plenty to do that day and would have won if he was positioned closer to the pace. He steps up to 1m4f now, which suits, and is just 1lb higher than when finishing runner-up last time.
