The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with three to follow on Sunday
BANKER
Brewin'Upastorm (1.20 Huntingdon)
Extremely highly regarded five-year-old for trainer Olly Murphy, who certainly knows when he's got a good one on his hands. Followed his sole point success with an easy nine-length victory at Hereford on stable debut in January, beating a subsequent Grade 2 winner in Portrush Ted. Didn't quite match that form when sent into Listed company on his only other start, finishing fourth after making a big move in the straight, but more can be expected this season and I'd expect him to romp home here.
GOOD THING
Charbel(2.25 Huntingdon)
Some good horses have won this Peterborough Chase in recent seasons, including Top Notch last year, and Charbel looks set to add his name to the roll of honour. A fantastic chaser, who has been unfortunate to bump into Altior on a number of occasions, Charbel has returned as good as ever this season and following a game victory at Chepstow on his penultimate run, he probably ran a career-best at Ascot last time out, just denied half a length by Politologue at the line. There's nothing of his standard in this race and hopefully he can go one better.
IRISH ANGLE
Jake Peter(1.25 Punchestown)
Unsighted on his first seven starts over both codes, Jake Peter sparked into form when landing a 2m Tramore Flat handicap in August and hasn't looked back since. He has subsequently recorded a victory and two seconds on the Flat, before fairly hacking up when reverting back to hurdles last time out. He looks to be on a fair mark as he steps into handicap company over hurdles and can follow up.
