Although he's in the grip of the handicapper, Tony Carroll's Madrinho is the most likely winner of this 0-80 6f handicap and is sure to rack up his fair share of victories on the all-weather (his preferred surface) this winter. Following a few below-par efforts on turf this summer, Madrinho returned to form with a customary strong-staying effort at Kempton last time out and hopefully this race will be set up for him to come fast and late down the outside. He's just 1lb higher than when last successful.
