The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on Sunday afternoon

BIG-RACE BANKER

Enable(3.35 Sandown)

This is the best edition of the Coral-Eclipse in some time and although Enable is making her seasonal reappearance against some race-fit rivals (Ghaiyyath and Japan), I fancy her to come out on top and record back-to-back victories in the Group 1 contest. John Gosden is likely to have his superstar six-year-old mare primed for her reappearance effort and if that's the case, this 13-time winner will prove extremely hard to beat. She's rated 3lb higher than Ghaiyyath and gets a small mares' allowance. The early pace set by that rival will help her settle and relax.

EACH-WAY PLAY

(3.15 Haydock)

Andrew Balding's four-year-old catches the eye in the Old Newton Cup. Unexposed after just seven starts and with three wins to his name (two on the Fibresand at Southwell, one on soft ground here), Ranch Hand could be chucked in off his mark of 99 and will appreciate the testing conditions at the Merseyside track. He is clearly held in some regard by Balding as he was sent off favourite for the Cesarewitch last year and although he failed to get competitive that day, he ran with plenty of promise on his return at Royal Ascot and is worthy of a second look in this contest.
