The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on Saturday afternoon
BANKER
Cityzen Serg(5.30 Wolverhampton)
A €75,000 yearling purchase, Citizen Serg showed good promise on the all-weather when placed on his first three outings (once at this track) before disappointing on the turf during the summer. He can be excused for his penultimate start when ninth of ten on soft ground at Doncaster and put in a much better effort when reverting back to a synthetic surface and dominating a similar field to this over course and distance last week. A 6lb rise won't stop him and he's drawn perfectly for a stalking trip in gate one.
GOOD THING
Paul Nicholls has dominated the 1965 Chase in recent seasons, winning it on six occasions since 2010, so Real Steel is feared on his first start since switching from Willie Mullins. However, he hasn't been seen yet this season and will face the race-fit Imperial Aura, who remains thoroughly unexposed and fairly hacked up on his reappearance at Carlisle in what looked a really competitive heat. He's one of the most exciting chasers around at the moment and hopefully he can record his seventh win from just 11 starts.
