The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on Saturday afternoon

BIG-RACE BANKER

Frankly Darling(3.40 Epsom)

Imposing daughter of Frankel who couldn't have been more impressive on her seasonal reappearance at Newcastle in early June, running away from a useful rival to win by five lengths. She hit the line powerfully that day after initially looking green when out in front by herself and clearly progressed physically and mentally before running out a decisive winner of the Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot later in the month. Frankly Darling clearly stays 1m4f well and her form stacks up well against this opposition. Given how unexposed she is, I think she should be favourite the Oaks ahead of Love.

EACH-WAY PLAY

Vatican City(4.55 Epsom)

Unlike the Oaks, I don't have a very strong opinion on who will win the Investec Derby but the value play in the race is most certainly Vatican City, who would be shorter in the market if he had Ryan Moore on his back. This unexposed Galileo colt gets the assistance of big-race specialist Padraig Beggy, which is no bad thing, and is expected to improve a bundle for an extra half a mile. He ran a great race when a staying-on second behind Siskin in the Irish 2,000 Guineas last time and remains unexposed after just three starts. At around 12-1, he looks the best each-way play in the race.

EYECATCHER

(3.00 Epsom)

Although this seven-year-old has had plenty of races, he looked to have produced a career-best on his return at Newmarket last month and is well worth supporting off a 7lb higher mark this afternoon. Amanda Perrett's handicapper cleared away from his field to win by 14 lengths on his first start under William Buick and hasn't been hit too hard by the handicapper despite achieving a Racing Post Rating of 99. Given his good form at Brighton and Goodwood, the camber at Epsom should prove no problem.
