The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on Friday afternoon

BANKER

(1.20 Sandown)

Talented six-year-old who was one of my 'six to follow' at the start of the jumps season but has so far failed to deliver on his promise shown in a Newbury bumper last year. Second that day behind the talented McFabulous, Faustinovick finished in the places on his first two outings in novice hurdles before Christmas over 2m4f/2m4½f before undergoing a wind op. It seemed to have the desired effect for a long way at Ascot last time and he entered the straight travelling the best, but eventually faded out of things after making a bad error. He has essentially been disappointing but now drops back to 2m, is partnered by Jonjo O'Neill and makes his first start in handicap company off a mark of 122. He is much better than that if putting it all together.

EYECATCHER

(4.30 Sandown)

Bumper winner at this track in November 2018 who made countless mistakes in novice hurdles before eventually getting off the mark in that sphere in a weak race at Fontwell in May. Has performed much better since in handicap company and the step up to 2m4f will surely help him given he won over 2m5½f on heavy ground. Testing conditions is what he wants and the booking of Robbie Power (first ride for the Seamus Mullins) seems to be a sign of intent.
