The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on Friday afternoon

BANKER

Not That Fuisse (2.25 Kempton)

Smart seven-year-old who is being aimed at the Cheltenham Festival and should go there on the back of a victory in this 2m2f handicap chase. Dan Skelton's charge appears to be well handicapped off a mark of 130 thanks to a couple of midfield efforts on his last couple of outings and is well suited to this venue (close-up fourth on his only start here). A strong-travelling hold-up sort, Not That Fuisse has contested some good novice chases this year, with his best effort coming when just four lengths behind Al Dancer at Cheltenham in October, and will appreciate the better ground today. He doesn't like soft conditions, so that's his excuse for his last couple of starts, and should resume winning ways off top weight.

GOOD THING

(3.40 Southwell)

Mick Appleby's handicapper went straight into the notebook when given a dubious ride by George Rooke (on again) here last week, where he appeared to be extremely soft on the six-year-old en route to a half-length second. Rooke was questioned by the stewards after the race and stated that Six Strings didn't face the kickback entering the straight and that he didn't want to ask him a question too soon as he wasn't sure he would go through with it. There looked to be plenty left at the line in any case and although the drop back to 6f may not be ideal given the way he hit the line that day, he is ahead of the handicapper and worth keeping an eye on.
