The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on day four of Royal Ascot

BANKER

Elarqam(3.00 Royal Ascot)

Soft ground and the step up to 1m4f looks the perfect combination for Mark Johnston's Elarqam, who is often forgotten about but is a true Group 2 performer and has the best form in the book bar Anthony Van Dyck's Derby win. Elarqam ran well in the Wolferton on soft ground at this meeting last year, finishing third behind Addeybb, before beating that rival on similar ground in the York Stakes. His reappearance second in the Brigadier Gerard Stakes was boosted when Lord North, who beat him by a short head, bolted up here on Wednesday.

EYECATCHER

Dancin Inthestreet (1.15 Royal Ascot)

Art Power is far too short to back in here and it's best to look for an each-way bet as bookies go 9-1 bar the favourite. The most interesting runner in the race is William Haggas's Dancin Inthestreet, who will carry just 8st and is 5lb out of the handicap but looks miles ahead of her mark with improvement likely on her second run back. She looked well suited by the drop back to this 5f trip on her return, where she was repeatedly denied a clear run and eventually finished a luckless third. John Egan will hopefully track across to the stands' side from stall 11 and she will be finishing powerfully.

EACH-WAY PLAY

Johnny Drama(4.40 Royal Ascot)

Drawn in stall 20, Joshua Bryan will have to be at his best to get Andrew Balding's runner across into a good position. However, if he manages that this five-year-old could have serious each-way claims off a nice mark of 99. He showed good ability when with Ger Lyons early in his career, including when winning on yielding/soft ground at Gowran Park, and didn't get his ground for new connections until he was second on his final start last year. Soft conditions will help him produce his best and Balding will have him spot on for his return.
