EYECATCHER
Dalahast(1.00 Auteuil)
The prolific Device is forecast to go off a short-priced favourite in this 2m6f chase but he hasn't run for 696 days and I'm happy to take him on with topweight Dalahast. This seven-year-old has won five of his nine career starts and is proven when fresh, recording form figures of 411 after breaks of 100 days or more. He was disappointing on his last two outings last year but should be ready to return with a bang.
GOOD THING
Dream Wish (3.25 Auteuil)
Unexposed chaser who recorded his first career success in the Listed Prix Noiro at this track in October. Dream Wish backed that up in Grade 3 company when fending off the talented Al Cuarto over 2m2f a month later. Although he failed to rack up the hat-trick, Dream Wish finished a good third on his return in March behind the reopposing King Edward and he is fancied to reverse the form with that race under his belt now upped in trip.
