The soft ground at Ayr will be perfect for the Keith Dalgleish-trained Forever A Lady, who hasn't won in her last 19 races but is due a victory and is handicapped to do just that. She often travels well in her races, normally up with the pace, before flattening out in the final 100 yards. There doesn't seem to be much pace in this contest, though, and that should allow her to save some energy and kick clear in ground she relishes. It's a tough race but I make her the best bet at the forecast prices.
