The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tip on Tuesday afternoon
BANKER
Lightness(3.15 Beverley)
There are a few interesting fillies set to battle in this 1m2f maiden, but the race-fit Lightness will take a lot of beating and looks the banker of the day at Beverley. A three-year-old daughter of Shamardal out of a Street Cry mare, Lightness is bred to be superb and she has run with promise on both her starts so far. She stayed on powerfully to take third on her debut over 1m½f at Wolverhampton before Christmas before travelling the best on her return when bumping into a potentially useful newcomer. She lost by just a short head that day but was miles clear of the third and should appreciate the switch to turf. Trainer John Gosden has had just six runners at this track in the last five years.
