Queen Constantine(3.15 Leicester)

The fact there is only seven runners in this 0-80 handicap is annoying, but I'm still tempted to have a small play on Queen Constantine for trainer William Jarvis. The three-year-old Holy Roman Emperor filly broke her duck at the sixth attempt last season and has improved since being sent over staying trips this year, albeit without success. She went into my notebook when a strong-staying runner-up at Nottingham on her return (good to soft ground) and despite disappointed on her next start, she returned to form when last seen at Windsor. That came on unfavourable ground and although she's up 1lb for that effort, she looks to be well suited by today's race conditions.
