Was subsequently gelded and sold to Tony Carroll for just £4,500, who almost instantly got his money back when Winnetka hit the front at this track earlier this month on his first start for the yard. He was eventually ran down and finished half-a-length back in third that day, but he showed a nice turn of foot and made his challenge up the unfavoured inside of the track, so can be marked up for his effort. The drop in trip to 6f should suit and a 1lb rise won't stop him.
