The Punt Daily: Robbie Wilders' horse racing tips on Saturday

BANKER

Burning Victory (1.08 Navan)

2020 Triumph Hurdle winner who has established herself as a strong stayer on the Flat, finishing second to Buzz over 2m2f in the Cesarewitch on her last start. She was eight and a half lengths clear of the third there and was attempting to give Buzz, among the favourites for this season’s Stayers’ Hurdle, 2lb. That was a brilliant effort from Burning Victory and were the pair to meet in a handicap hurdle she would receive 12lb from Buzz. Aside from finishing down the field in the 2m4f Mares Champion Hurdle at Punchestown following a 414-day break, Burning Victory is yet to race over further than 2m1f over hurdles. There must be much more to come from her over this 3m½f trip off a tempting mark of 143. She is as short as 14-1 for the Grade 1 Christmas Hurdle at Leopardstown in December and would need to be going close in this to justify that price.

EYECATCHER

Greaneteen (2.25 Sandown)

Greaneteen's 21-length fourth off 168 in the Haldon Gold Cup on his return was not as bad as it seemed. He was always going to find life tough in giving 17lb to improving second-season chasers Eldorado Allen and Hitman, who were on the cusp of Grade 1 level as novices last term. That was merely a warm up for the Tingle Creek for Greaneteen and this has always been the early-season target. He landed the Grade 1 Celebration Chase over this course and distance in April under similar conditions and doesn't have as much to find with Chacun Pour Soi and Nube Negra as the market suggests, particularly on the trio's Champion Chase meeting last campaign.
