The Punt Daily: Robbie Wilders' horse racing tip at Plumpton on Monday
EYECATCHER
Kid Commando (1.00 Plumpton)
This Anthony Honeyball-trained seven-year-old is the forecast outsider in the 2m1f novice chase at Plumpton but I suspect he has a better chance than his odds suggest. He was set a stiff task on his chasing debut off top weight in a red-hot novice handicap chase at Ascot and while he has 11 lengths to make up on Nassalam, he meets that rival on 14lb better terms after the four-year-old's fortunate Grade 2 victory at Newbury. Kid Commando remains a highly promising chasing prospect and more is expected on his second run after a wind operation and second of the season.
