The Punt Daily: Robbie Wilders' free horse racing tip on Tuesday afternoon
DARK HORSE
Ridenza (4.55 Leopardstown)
The 108-rated So Wonderful is the clear standard setter in the Derrinstown Stud Fillies’ Stakes at Leopardstown, though she is still a maiden after ten starts and I wish to bypass her at short odds. The Mick Halford-trained Ridenza makes each-way appeal with nine runners declared. Halford is not a trainer you associate with debut winners and this filly looked well-above average when scoring first-time-out in a 7f maiden at this course last season, winning eased down from some classy rivals. Fourth was Lemista (104-rated Group 3 winner), sixth was Deidra (91-rated maiden winner) and ninth was Irish 1,000 Guineas heroine Peaceful. The extra furlong will help and she should improve a bundle for that experience. Provided the ground isn’t too quick (withdrawn before the Irish 1,000 Guineas for that reason), a bold showing is predicted and I think she could be top class.
