The Punt Daily: Mark Boylan's free horse racing tip at Dundalk on Friday
DUNDALK DIAMOND
Hurricane Alex(4.15 Dundalk)
Denis Hogan recently sent out three winners in the space of a week, two ridden by promising apprentice Daniel King, and the pair could be set for further success in the 1m4f apprentice handicap at Dundalk on Friday. Hurricane Alex was unfortunate to be just touched off by well-handicapped three-year-old Kalaroun, who wasn't unbacked, here last time over 1m2½f. The longer trip he faces this time around should do him no harm. Drawn a little higher than ideal in stall 13, having enjoyed an inside trip last time from stall 4, the longer run to the first bend means there's every chance he can get a position behind the leaders just fine. He should go very close once off 1lb higher than his recent head defeat.

He'll offer a guide to the weekend action, highlight the horses and races to watch and share his punting wisdom. Read it every Saturday in the Racing Post or online from 4pm every Friday.
