The Punt Acca: Robbie Wilders' three racing tips at Leopardstown on Saturday

Duke De Sessa (3.10 Leopardstown)

I'm not sure we've seen the best of Duke De Sessa yet and he could surprise one or two in the Group 3 Paddy Power Stakes. The son of Lope De Vega is interesting upped to this trip on soft ground for the first time as he bolted up in his maiden on that terrain and achieved his last victory at this course. He was an eyecatcher under a 3lb penalty when a running-on second to the smart Aikhal at the Curragh in June and will be freshened up after 77 days off the track.

Alenquer(3.45 Leopardstown)

I can't help but feel Alenquer has been underestimated in the Irish Champion Stakes for William Haggas, who is 8-18 in Ireland over the last five seasons. You can draw a line through his last-of-six finish in the Coral-Eclipse last time as the ground was far too quick and I'm expecting a much better performance with conditions easing at Leopardstown. The form of his Tattersalls Gold Cup victory at the Curragh two starts back when he accounted for the likes of State Of Rest, Lord North and Broome is really strong.

Lights On (4.55 Leopardstown)

The Matron Stakes market is dominated by Homeless Songs and Saffron Beach but the value surely lies with Lights On at a huge price. I'd imagine Sir Michael Stoute has eyed up an autumn campaign and this prize for some time with this slow-maturing five-year-old, who has not been sighted on a racecourse since running sixth to Baaeed on fast ground in the Queen Anne. Lights On is still improving and on the two occasions she ran on soft ground she stormed home by ten lengths at Pontefract and beat subsequent dual Group 1 winner Dreamloper in an Ascot handicap last May, giving her 1lb.
