The Punt Acca: Robbie Wilders' three horse racing tips on Saturday

Loughderg Rocco (12.55 Doncaster)

The Grade 2 December Novices' Chase is more open than official ratings suggest and Loughderg Rocco appears to have been underestimated by the layers for Laura Morgan. Loughderg Rocco had Grave 1-winning novice hurdler and subsequent winner Gelino Bello in trouble on his chasing debut at Wetherby in October when beaten half a length in a sprint finish, and can build on that to reach a high level over fences.

Third Time Lucki (1.15 Cheltenham)

The exploits of Edwardstone and Brave Seasca last weekend show last season's crop of British two-mile novice chasers in a decent light and Third Time Lucki can take this 2m½f handicap chase off a mark of 147. Third Time Lucki has disappointed this season but crucially returns to the track following wind surgery, and that procedure appeared to help him at the beginning of the previous campaign. Two from two over fences at this course and will like this ground.

Nina The Terrier(3.35 Cheltenham)

Handicapped to land a nice prize after a decent fifth in the Greatwood off 1lb higher last time and today might be the day in this weaker mares' handicap hurdle. Renews rivalry with the well-fancied Martello Sky off 6lb better terms than when the pair met at Wetherby two starts back, and while Nina The Terrier fell three out that day, she was moving nicely into contention. Worth another try over this 2m4½f trip on the sound surface she enjoys.
