Desert Illusion(2.35 Ripon)

These calmer waters should help Desert Illusion, who was given an impossible task in the Lowther Stakes at York on her most recent start. Prior to that, she had posted a peak RPR of 67 when midfield in Newbury's Super Sprint, and a mark of 68 makes her of interest on that basis for her nursery debut. Leading apprentice Benoit de la Sayette takes 3lb off her back and Ismail Mohammed has his string in excellent nick, which only furthers her claims.

Glamorous Force(3.00 Chepstow)

There is an abundance of pace in this contest and Glamarous Force is set to benefit from that. He has shown signs of a revival in two recent starts, latterly when third over course and distance off a 2lb higher rating. This mark makes him extremely dangerous and having gained the vast majority of his wins from off the pace, the amount of front runners in this field makes him very tough to ignore.

Boogie Time(3.50 Epsom)

Previously trained by Karl Burke, Boogie Time makes his debut for Mark Loughnane after a pair of great efforts in 5f handicaps for his former stable. Last seen finishing second at Hamilton in a higher grade, he can race off the same mark against lesser competition and perhaps more crucially, he returns to the 6f distance. All of his career wins have come at this trip and with Richard Kingscote booked, he holds an obvious chance.
