Emir Sacree(1.15 Hereford)

The exceptionally well-bred Emir Sacree is lightly raced for his age and should have improvement left in the locker for his top connections. He was last seen winning comfortably at Chepstow in March and his record after breaks of 50 days or more reads 22111. Wind surgery should have had a positive effect and this should be the perfect time to catch the eight-year-old.

Grandeur D'Ame(2.30 Lingfield)

Making his chasing debut after a 241-day break, Grandeur D'Ame led all the way to the last before a lack of race fitness showed and he weakened into a clear third. That was a promising effort from a lightly raced six-year-old who should have plenty to offer over fences this season. His mark has been left unchanged and he can take advantage of all the weight he receives from his main rivals.

Beau Balko(2.53 Taunton)

Parramount is a smart prospect, but he may need further to show his best and Beau Balko should have too much speed for him. Paul Nicholls' four-year-old seemed to hate the ground at Hereford last time but he still won with plenty in hand. He should have plenty more to offer now he goes handicapping, especially on this type of ground. Nicholls has a strong record at Taunton and can extend it here.
