The Punt Acca: Matt Rennie's three horse racing tips from Southwell on Wednesday

Finery thrives on the all-weather and it would be no shock if she follows up her latest course win last week in the 7f handicap. Six of the Mick Appleby-trained mare's seven victories have come on the all-weather and she scored with authority at Southwell under Erika Parkinson eight days ago. Parkinson again claims 5lb off and Appleby continues to have his string in fine form.

Debydinks has not been beaten far on her last couple of starts and has dropped to a likeable mark that could see her get off the mark. While she could not justify favouritism when third at Wolverhampton last time, she was an eyecatcher when second over course-and-distance before that.

George Boughey has made a red-hot start to the new year and can continue that with new recruit King's Gem in the concluding 6f handicap. Winless in three starts for Sir Mark Todd, he improved in each of those including when fourth at Ffos Las in August. He has not been seen since but it is hard to ignore Boughey's form, given he is operating at a 30 per cent strike-rate in the last fortnight.
