Kempton Placepot picks: Paul Kealy has three bankers on Thursday's card

Nine go in Kempton's opener (5.30) and it's possible one of the newcomers will be good enough to give the form horses a run for their money.

That said, Burdett Road and Super Mo set a fair standard for the race, and both ought to stay, so at least one should get us through the first leg of the Placepot.

There are plenty of potential improvers in the next (6.00), with main selection Bernadine joined by Ready Reckoner, who ought to go well.

In the third (6.30) I'm happy to stick with Aguaplano as he's been running really well lately and simply didn't get the run of the race from a wide draw last time.

In the next (7.00) it's hard to know what to make of Central Hall's defeat at odds of 1-4 in December, but even that form is good enough to beat most of these.

He has a tongue-tie added to his cheekpieces, so there might have been an issue, and he's given the benefit of the doubt.

There are only six in the fifth (7.30), but it will take a good one to get the better of Annaf if he is in the same form as when winning with plenty in hand and returning an RPR of 114 at Lingfield last time.

Dinoo is short enough in the last given he might be vulnerable after a little break, and preference is for Legendary Day, who has been in fair form over hurdles and isn't badly treated, and Daniel Deronda, who was a decent second here a couple of weeks ago.
